When you react to the temptation, the thing you are reacting to will OVERPOWER you. However, if you COUNT IT AS JOY, that temptation will have no control over you. In order to count it joy, in verse, you have to include verse 3, you have to read them together, which would then read like, (trials and tests) KNOWING THIS….Now what is the THIS that I am supposed to know. Look at verse 3.
