Our opinions or former opinions may have been inspired by well-meaning Bible teachers or some Church traditions, but we have to know that the BIBLE is inspired by God. Therefore we must use the Word as our FINAL AUTHORITY in any matter that the Word addresses. When talking to some people about being filled with the Holy Ghost, we need to realize that some of them have made up their minds that they are not going to believe in the experience of speaking in other tongues when filled with the Holy Ghost. Don’t waste your time with a debate…it is of no value battling with them in trying to get them to change their mind. Because they believe what they believe no matter what the Word says! They are “unteachable!”
