“And we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” Notice it says that if we KNOW that HE hears us, we have what we ask for! How do we HAVE it? By Faith, and faith is the EVIDENCE of things not seen (perceived by the senses). Faith needs to be base entirely on the Word of God. There are two ways that we express our faith. The PRIMARY way is by the words of our mouth. The secondary way is with a physical action which is consistent with what we say with our mouth, to the extent that we can do it.
