Philippians 4:19: “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” People generally work to provide their needs and desires…that is what working is all about. In this verse, Paul says, My God shall supply all your need. God is our SOURCE for all our needs. If God is our Source, then what we have do is ACT LIKE IT IS TRUE, instead of whining and complaining. Don’t misunderstand me, we are supposed to work, and we should work. Paul says in 2nd Thessalonians 3:10, “………….if any would not work, neither should he eat.” We need to remember that job isn’t our source, that may be the means at the time, but GOD IS YOUR SOURCE! Your job is just one of the many channels through which God can supply your need.
