See if this helps your understanding of this concept. The word “sight” makes you think about eyes. It makes you think about visual perception. If you talk about using only your eyesight, you limit yourself to only 1/5 of your body’s ability to feed information to you about the environment around you. what about the things we can hear, the things we can touch and so on? I would present to you that the Holy Spirit is not talking solely about visual perception, but that He is talking about sensory perception, as opposed to spiritual perception.
