Back to Matthew 14, Think about this, God gave this man permission to walk on the water. I have never read about anyone else in the Word walking on the water except Jesus and Peter. You cannot say, “Jesus did that because He was the Son of god.” Peter was not the son of God, and he walked on the water also. In fact, Peter was not born again, nor was he filled with the Spirit. He was a DISCIPLE, but he could not have been born again, because Jesus had not died and risen from the dead yet. Reading further in Matthew 14:30, “……and beginning to sink, he cried saying Lord, save me.” Did you know that when the human body comes into contact with an abundance of water, you do not “begin to sink.” You go in the water like a lead filled balloon. As soon as you hit the water, you are UNDER THE WATER.
