Looking at the assumption that tongues were dependent upon the apostles’ longevity (a lot of religious people believe that apostles have been done away with…which is not true, they are alive and well even today). Think about it what about the people that were younger than the original apostles of the Lamb who were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke with other tongues during their early ministry? (Acts 8:14-18; 10:44-465, 19:6-7). What happened to their ability to speak in tongues after the apostles of the lamb died? Did they supernaturally quit speaking in tongues? There is no Scripture to support such a belief!
