Ananias was not one of the 12 apostles of the Lamb. Furthermore, he did not want to deal with Saul and he gave the Lord his reasons, but the Lord encouraged and assured Ananias that Saul was His chosen vessel. Acts 9:17, “And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on hm said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.”
