From this passage of Scripture in Acts, (9:17) we can see and understand why Paul said in 1 Corinthians 14:18, “I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all.” Based on Paul’s declaration, we can see that he was thankful for being able to speak in tongues. This champion tongue-talker of the New Testament was ministered the infilling of the Holy ghost by a certain DISCIPLE, Ananias. Therefore, it is unlikely that the apostles were the only ones endowed with the ability to minister the infilling of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of other tongues. There is no scriptural reference to support this objection.
