The rule for Scriptural interpretation is that all Scripture must be interpreted in light of all other Scripture which deals with the same topic. Firs of all then, being filled wit the Holy Ghost is NOT the topic under discussion in these verses. The topic being discusses is SPIRITUAL GIFTS, or GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT. Only two the nine gifts of the Spirit are unique to the New Testament. The other seven existed in the Old Testament. But all nine gifts, which are in manifestation in the33 Church age, are taught in this chapter.
