1 Corinthians 13:8, “Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.” If we are to believe that tongues eased when the bible was written, we must also believe knowledge ceased when the bible was written, because both are in the same verse. We cannot take our spiritual knives and cut out certain parts of a vers, leave other parts intact, and build a scripturally sound and correct doctrine. Knowledge certainly has not vanished! Isn’t it interesting that those who claim tongues have passed away consider THEMSELVES very knowedgeable!
