Another objection to speaking in tongues is that some people maintain that you receive the baptism of the Holy ghost when you get born-again. they conte4nd that there is NOT a SEPARATE experience and that you receive ALL of the Holy ghost that it is possible to receive when you accept Jesus as you Lord and Savior. I know of NO SCRIPTURE to support this claim. Usually, people who believe this objection have not remained hungry and thirsty for God. They are satisfied with what they have and deny there is something more. Nevertheless, the Bible indicates there is an experience with the Holy spirit subsequent to and distinct from salvation.
