In John 7:37,38, Jesus referred to the infilling of the Holy Spirit: “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” The distinction between the INDWELLING presence of the Holy Spirit (also called the BAPTIXM of the Holy Spirit) accompanied by speaking in other tongues, are supported by numerous scriptural examples.
Yesterday’s trivia: David (2 Samuel 12:1-15)
Proverbs 17:22! There was an atheist who was suing the church, because of all the religious holidays and no holiday for atheists. The judge told him, “Atheists have a holiday!” The atheist replied, “They do?” The judge says, sure in fact April 1 or “all fools day” was considered to be a day of celebration and the day was taken from the Bible in Psalm 14:1, “The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God……” So, atheists have their holiday.
