The Apostle Paul’s baptism of the Holy Ghost experience does not show him speaking in tongues when ministered to by Ananias in Acts 9. But in 1 Corinthians 14:18, Paul gives testimony to the fact that, “…..I thank God I speak with tongues more than ye all.” (vs. 18) which also is a powerful teaching in Scripture in reference to God’s will for tongues in the Church. Today, some believers claim to be filled with the Holy Ghost without the evidence of tongues. It is impossible! Tongues have always been the INITIAL EVIDENCE of receiving the infilling or baptism of the Holy Ghost. On the issued of speaking in tongues, the Word gives us more THAN “two or three witnesses!”
