Continuing on in the subject of “objections to speaking in tongues.” JESUS DID NOT SPEAK IN TONGUES! Since Jesus did not speak in other tongues, why should we? One of the reasons that Jesus did not speak in other tongues is because He ministered under the Old Covenant. Tongues and interpretation of tongues did not exist until AFTER His ascension. Speaking in tongues occurred for the first time on the Day of Pentecost: Acts 2:1-4.
