Elijah did not speak in tongues. Moses did not speak in tongues. David did not speak in tongues. And Jesus did not either. They could not speak in tongues, because it was not available under the Old Testament Covenant! The Holy Ghost Comforter had not been given and couldn’t be given until Jesus paid the price for sin on the cross, was resurrected, and ascended to the Father, after which the New Covenant was brought into force!
