During David’s day the rules of battle that Goliath laid out were the hard facts of warfare. Whoever won the battle was the champion…whether it was the aggressor or the one who accepted the challenge. whoever fell in defeat would forever serve the other as a slave. These hard facts of battle are still the rules of spiritual warfare today.
