When you are stepping out to challenge your foes, sometimes individuals (sometimes leadership) may point out the vast difference between spiritual boldness and rude arrogance. Nevertheless, there is a true boldness that the Holy Spirit gives to surrendered vessels. David was a yielded vessel. He was so surrendered to God’s power working through him that a Holy Spirit inspired confidence rose up within him. At that point, David simply could not hold back his righteous anger!
