1st Samuel 17:38-39, “And Saul armed David with his armour, and he put an helmet of brass upon his head; also he armed him with a coat of mail. And David girded his sword upon his armour…” David had already killed the lion and the bear without the use of any natural armor of weaponry: However because of the size of Goliath, Saul thought that David needed more than God’s faithfulness!
