We need to train ourselves to move beyond the realm of our fleshly means of defense and enter into the realm of spiritual armor. This armor will empower each one of us to successfully “……stand against the wiles of the devil.” It might be interesting for you to note the meaning of the word, “devil.” Once you get an understanding of this name, you will be able to easily see that it was the nature of the devil himself that was working through Goliath to intimidate the armies of Israel.
