In John 1:1 the word, “with” is taken from the Greek word ‘pros’.” So, John 1:1 could read “in the beginning was the Word, [Jesus] and the Word [Jesus] was FACE TO FACE WITH GOD.” (emphasis mine). The word ‘pros’ clearly reveals the INTIMACY and CLOSE RELATIONSHIP that exists between the Member’s of the Godhead. It gives us a picture of the Father and Jesus in a relationship so close and intimate that the Father can almost feel the Son’s breath on His Face!
