God is not some big old meany, striking people dead when they mess up; NO! God IS LOVE (He doesn’t HAVE love HE IS love). And Jesus came to reveal the Father’s love to the world. In Matthew 6, Jesus says more about the Father’s care for His children, look at: Matthew 6:31-33, “Therefore take no thought, saying, what shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewith shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU.”
