In John 14: 21,23; Jesus emphasized two critical points. First, He talked about OUR responsibility when He said that we are to keep his commandments. Jesus summed up all His commandments in one when He said, “A new commandment I give unto you, that YE LOVE ONE ANOTHER, as I have loved you….” (John 13:34). We don’t need to be concerned about obeying ALL the commandments of the Old Testament because the bible says LOVE is the fulfilling of the law. (Romans 13:10). In other words, if we keep that ONE commandment and continually walk in love towards others, we will automatically fulfill EVERY OTHER commandment!
