The next thing to notice that Jesus emphasized the Father’s love: “……he that loveth me SHALL BE LOVED OF MY FATHER….” (John 14:21). The great Father God is a God of love, and His very love nature compels Him to care for and provide for His children. Think about natural parents. Most parents want the best for their children and desire to give their children good things. Well, the Bible asks the question, “If natural parents know how to give good things to their children, HOW MUCH MORE does our Heavenly Father know how to give good gifts to His children.
