It is a spiritual reality that we have more authority than the devil; and we have the Greater One living within us. So, the question that we all have had at one time or another is, “If we have more authority, if we have more power, and we have the Greater One living inside us, why does it seem that the Church is full of so much defeat? The reason in actuality is that the devil has something the Church does not have. The word in Ephesians 6:12 “kosmokrateros” is a military term that has to do with DISCIPLINE, ORGAIZATION, and COMMITMENT! The devil is so serious about doing damage to humanity that he deals with demon spirits as though they were troops or soldiers. Meanwhile the average Spirit-filled believer often doesn’t stay in once church for more than one year at a time!
