God will never ask us to do something that we do not have the ability to do so when He says in Phil. 4:6 in the Amplified Bible, “Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything…………” We must have the ability to do so. Also, then what are we supposed to do if we can’t worry? Let’s finish the verse, “in every circumstance and in everything by prayer and petition [definite requests] with thanksgiving continue to make your wants known to God.” People may try every way except God’s way to receive deliverance and victory and may temporarily find some relief. But they will not experience permanent victory until they practice being doers of the Word.
