Continuing on with the names of satan, BELIAL means “worthless.” This name is always used in connection with FILTHINESS and WICKEDNESS. Whenever it is used, either in the Old Testament or the New Testament, it is used to depict EXTREMELY EVIL MEN. For instance, First Samuel 2:12 tells us that Eli’s sons were “sons of Belial.” Eli’s sons were fornicators and thieves, full of idolatry and rebellion.
Yesterday’s trivia: New Jerusalem (Rev. 21:2) Today’s trivia: At Capernaum, how did the man sick of the palsy gain access to the house in which Jesus was?
NOTE: I am so thankful and blessed at the wonderful comments and actions put forth from so many folks in celebrating my “50” years in ordained ministry. I am truly a BLESSED MAN! Thanks soooo much for all of the hard work and time spent in organizing and making this day truly one that I will remember!
Kathy and I DECREE YOU BLESSED IN JESUS NAME!
