Ephesians 5:15-21 instructions: 1. Redeem the time. 2. Understand the will of the Lord. 3. Be filled with the Spirit, not drunk with wine. 4. Speak to yourself in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. 5. Make melody in your heart to the Lord. 6.Give thanks to God always for all things in the name of Jesus. 7.Submit to one another in the fear of God. Redeeming time depends on the fulfilment of the other six instructions, and understanding the will of the Lord depends on being filled with the Spirit. How you can understand the will of the Lord after being filled is by speaking to yourself, singing and giving thanks to the Lord and submitting to one another.
