Getting the Holy Spirit is not like a smallpox shot. IF you don’t use your prayer language, you lose the awareness of the Holy Spirit; you lose the consciousness of Him, and you lose the power that comes with operating in the Spirit. All through the Book of Acts, it mentions the apostles being “filled with the Spirit.” That does not mean they kept getting the initial evidence over and over, but that they constantly kept drinking and the infilling was an on-going process. (Acts 2:4, 13). How did they do that? the next three verses in Ephesians tells us how.
