Remember in Acts 16, Paul and Silas were in jail, persecuted for preaching the Gospel. What did they do? Notice that they not only PRAYED, AND they SANG PRAISES! And they weren’t quiet or “religiously reverent!” Notice, they were HEARD by the other prisoners. There is a very good possibility that they had stripes put on their back, but they were singing loudly enough for the praises to be heard down the corridors of that prison. Freedom came through their singing. A supernatural specific earthquake loosened their bonds, and they were able, in addition, to lead an entire household to Christ. Freedom will come to you when you begin to sing and minister unto the Lord.
