In 1 Thessalonians 5:21, “Prove all things, hold fast that which is good.” If you have not proven the voice of God in your private times with Him, you won’t be sure it’s His voice when the time comes for public demonstration. Start praying or singing in tongues, then pray with the “understanding” as Paul said. Your spirit gets built up by speaking in tongues, but your mind doesn’t get anything out of it.
