In Hosea 4:6, it is obvious that God is NOT talking about academic knowledge, because we have an enormous amount of “intellectuals” on the planet. You can go to school physically, or get the courses on video recordings, or “stream,” due to the advent of home computers. You can even do the courses through the mail. So, since God is the One talking about His people, and He says, MY PEOPLE ARE DESTROYUED FRO LACK OF KNOWLEDGE, it is obvious that the knowledge God is talking about is knowledge about Him, knowledge about His Word, His ways, and His will.
