Satan answered God and said in essence, “Yeah, I know all that. But the only reason he’s doing all that food stuff is that you have a hedge built around him. You pull that hedge down, and he will curse You to Your face.” That was the challenge satan brought against God. Then in Job 1:12: And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold [or look], all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand…..” We need to realize that everything in this world is within the power of satan to destroy, because we are living in a world that is controlled by satan. Remember 2nd Corinthians 4:4 satan is the SMALL “g” of this world. Big “G” Father God, Jehovah is not the author of starvation, war, murder and all of the other tragedies that are happening in the world today.
