Their answer is, “But we don’t believe that in our church.” Well, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ believes it and practices it…the Book of Acts is still being fulfilled this day…we should practice and believe that things that took place in the Book of Acts are still being done today…because the CHURCH THE BODY OF CHRIST….IS THE SAME YESTERDAY TODAY AND FOREVER! For instance, how can we pray, “Lord, if it be Thy Will…” that is in reality of prayer of doubt when used in the context I am in reference to. If we knew what the will of God was, why would we ever say “IF”? IF is an indication of doubt, is it not? But, if you are seeking direction it probably is proper to pray “If it be Thy Will.”
