In James 5:15, When does James say “the Lord shall raise him up?” When they call for the elders of the Church and pray the prayer of faith and anoint with oil…then God can get involved. Notice it does not say, “and the Lord might.” It does not even say “if it be the Lords will.” It made a DEFINITE statement that the prayer of FAITH shall save the sick and then states, ‘AND THE LORD SHALL RAISE HIM UP.’ So, let’s do a little dissection of this verse. First of all, the person was sick. That was why they had to call the elders to pray over him and anoint him. If the Lord will raise him up, what does that mean, relative to his being sick in the first place? (answer tomorrow)
