In John 5:39, Jesus says, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” From Genesis to Revelation, everything in one way or another points to Jesus. He is the focal point, the apex of all biblical information. Someone once said, “The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed and the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed.” Jesus says that we are to SEARCH THE SECRIPTURES. But, in order to do that, it takes time and effort.
