If you are like me, sometimes you may misplace something in your home and seemed to turn the place upside down to try and find it. That is what Jesus is basically telling us about the Bible, and most people too busy or lazy to do that. This is the MASTER talking to us in John 5:39. This is the Person Who bought and paid for you with His very own life. This is the one Who loves you unconditionally. This is the one who has been interceding for you and me for over 2,000 years. “Search the Scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they [the Scriptures that we are supposed to be searching] are they which testify of me.”
