Notice in Ephesians 6:13-17 that the “sword of the Spirit” is the only piece of armor listed that is for offensive purposes. Everything else is for defensive work, to guard you as the enemy comes at you. The sword is what you use against the enemy; notice what the Holy Spirit says the sword of the Spirit is. He says, “…..the sword of the Spirits, which is the Word of God.” O.K. God’s Word is your weapon, but How do you use it?
