Matthew 22:29, “Jesus answered and said unto them, ye do err, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.” This is where we Christians mess up. Jesus said that they were in error because, “NOT KNOWING THE SCRIPTURES.” This still applies to all today, if we are too busy to take God into our busy lives, then we are TOO BUSY! In reality, it means that we are not really and truly TRUSTING GOD! We are trusting our own efforts and abilities. But, in order to trust God, you have to KNOW what He says about you, about your relationship with Him, and what He has given us through Christ Jesus. You can hope about things, you can trust preachers (perfect?). The only way you can know for sure is to learn it…study it for yourself EACH AND EVER DAY (eat Spiritual food daily) from God’s Word.
