Can you imagine? Goliath was an enormous, frightening sight. How do you think you would feel if you were challenged by a foe who stood around nine feet and 9 inches tall and wore more than 700 pounds of armor. And if that isn’t enough, how much do you imagine that Goliath himself weighed? Yet, I would present to you that it wasn’t Goliath’s size or weaponry, although I am sure that was a factor. So then what caused the Israelites to shrink back in fear? (Answer tomorrow)
